Lifestyle and Amenities
With Atlanta's consistent growth, and many younger
executives and business owners moving to the city, Country Club of the South
recognizes the need to provide an environment where the professional family
can feel at ease in a major metropolitan area while either at home or travelling.
As a result, close to 700 families now share the community's peerless
lifestyle. A 24-hour limited access
program integrated into the provision of luxury amenities guarantees a safe
and enjoyable environment for all residents and appeals to many of Atlanta's
top corporate executive, sports professionals and entertainment personalities
who choose to call Country Club of the South home.

Two community recreation centers are available to all Country Club of the South residents regardless of their golf club affiliation. The
east park offers a competition swimming pool and sun deck, three tennis courts, football/soccer field, tot lot and a large recreation pavilion.
The west park features four lighted tennis courts, basketball court, tot lot and pavilion.

The private membership country club features a 54,000 square-foot, lodge style facility overlooking the 18th green,
recently ranked among the top five clubhouses in the Southeast
by Southern Links magazine. Clubhouse facilities include formal dining,
two private dining rooms, an outdoor garden terrace, bar, lounge and grill.
Club amenities feature men's and women's locker rooms with showers, saunas, an exercise
room and a golf pro shop. A separate swim and tennis center offers a Jr. Olympic swimming pool,
six hard and six Rubico tennis courts and a pavilion with a tennis
pro shop, locker rooms and food service.
Designed by Jack Nicklaus, our golf course offers one of the area's most scenic golf course settings. Lush
pine and hardwood forests, rolling hills, lakes, streams and granite outcroppings
were preserved to provide spectacular natural hazards and scenery. The 7,044-yard
championship course played host to the Nationwide Championship, Georgia's
only Senior PGA TOUR event, from 1991-1994 and was ranked as one of the top
10 Georgia golf courses by GolfWeek magazine in 1995.
